Silly Sunday- “Garfield Minus Garfield”

Ran across this website awhile ago. It’s simply a guy who took “Garfield” out of all the “Garfield” comic strips. Then posted them.
Granted, not every joke in the strip requires the iconic main character.
It’s funny how just removing one element of anything can TOTALLY change it. Some just don’t make a lot of sense.
Some really work well for an entirely different reason.
(See? He’s on an IMAGINARY DATE? Get it?)
But, SOME bring an entirely NEW meaning to the whole joke. Or is it even really a “joke” anymore? It’s more just sad. But still funny in a dark sort of way.
It just isn’t the same without Garfield. Jon comes across as a seriously deranged individual who talks to himself a lot.
And really kinda creepy.
You can obviously see why he got a cat.
I’m glad he went with the cat.
