I can vouch for Mercury One.

100% of the money donated goes TO the relief effort.

They cover their administrative costs separately through a different fundraiser during the year. Every bit of money to a specific disaster goes TO that disaster to provide food, medicine, blankets, etc.

However, if you are allergic to Glenn Beck or Conservatives or Libertarians or whatever, you can donate to any of the groups listed who are on the ground now at the link below.

If those don’t do it for you, here’s some more non-affiliated charities to donate to.

The point is WE as individuals make a difference. We are neighbors, friends, family and countrymen. This is what we do as Americans. It’s what makes us who we are.

We don’t ask for handouts, we give to those in need.
