BuzzFeed has a video series where they get peoples’ reactions to things for the first time. Normally they are Americans reacting to foreign things such as Mexican Beer or German Food.
Here it’s interesting that these “Urban Americans” are introduced to Southern things and treat it much the same way. Are we that different culturally?
For the record up here we’re not Southern, but we are Country. Meaning yes pick up trucks and biscuits; no boiled peanuts and Okra.
I wonder if they even know they’re “Urban Americans” or if they simply think that people living crammed into cities is “normal”?
