Obama GITMO Detainee Release Draws Fire

What’s the big deal about keeping POWs in Guantanamo Bay? Just swipe a pen, call them “Prisoners of War” and run it like any other prison camp. We don’t need to release them on a certain schedule. We can throw as many as we want in there.

Why? Because they’re Prisoners of War. That means for the “duration of hostilities.”

As long as we’re still getting blown up and attacked by the enemy, the war is still on.

Now… if the Taliban and Al Qaeda and ISIS all want to sign a PEACE TREATY with us, then they can have their boys back. I’m willing to do that.

However, until they stop attacking us this “war” won’t be over. So why ship the prisoners home? Especially without getting anything for it?

That’s just insane.

About 80% of them eventually go back to terrorist attacks. Plus, much like gang members the guys “who were in GITMO” reportedly are celebrities in the community, recruiting boatloads of new crazy fundamentalists for ISIS and their ilk.

Why are we giving up without a fight?
