This is just too rich.

I think the best part is that half the “signs” they’re flashing in the bottom picture are serious insults in Arabic culture. The “OK” symbol for example is supposed to be something about a camel’s anus. The “thumbs up” too has a sexual connotation.

At least that’s what we were told by the locals when we were over there. Doing that in a church?

Just be thankful that’s an Abu Dhabi mosque. Those are the most laid back and “Western” ones you’ll find. Do that in Saudi Arabia and a flogging would be the least of your worries.
