U.S. Iraq Strategy Missing Key Allies As More Troops Set to Deploy

(NY Times, Dec 18th, 2014)

Let me get this straight.

1,500 more troops.

$5 billion more to be spent

A “minimum of three more years to get the Iraqi military ready to fight.”

All that sounds VERY familiar.

So…. what were we doing for the past 10 years in Iraq?

Sitting on our thumbs?

If the SAME strategy didn’t work after 10 years, why are we doing it again?

So much for “We won in Iraq. All the troops are home.”

  1. Pat Russell says:

Remind me of the definition of insanity?

  2. Its like you read my mind! You seem to know a lot about this, like you wrote the book
in it or something. I think that you can do with a few pics to drive the
message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is
great blog. A great read. I’ll definitely be back.

  3. Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this website.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very difficult to get
that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appearance.
I must say you have done a great job with this. Additionally, the blog loads very fast for me on Firefox.
    Superb Blog!
