Supreme Court to Hear UPS Pregnancy Discrimination Case

Two things here that struck me as interesting. First, the US Postal Service rule seems to be the same as UPS’s at the time. So, the government would essentially be setting itself up for punishment if they rule against UPS.

Second, UPS’s reasoning essentially boils down to: “You didn’t get the medical condition (pregnant) at work so it doesn’t count.”

Really? Did you guys REALLY think that reasoning through before you made that your official position? You are saying you WOULD have supported the worker if she got pregnant at work?

Think about that one guys….

  1. Pat Russell says:

I would guess that the govt. exempted them from the rule. Do what we say not what we do.
