Suspicious Powder Found at Western Embassies in Turkey

Well it appears that our polite Canadian cousins and the other cultured Europeans are getting a taste of what we’ve been going through since 9-11. Of course it’s all the same week… and nowhere NEAR as tragic.

Not to be trivial or rude, but people saying that TWO people killed is “just like 9-11” is stretching it.

No airliners crashed into their largest city and capital.

They didn’t lose 3,000 people.

TRAGIC yes. They have been there with us as allies, and we will help them track down any terrorist leads to help stop future attacks on them.

However, it’s not on the same scale.

9-11 was literally over 1,000 times worse (just in lives lost, not to mention rebuilding a big chunk of Manhattan and the Pentagon.)

More shootings happen on any given Sunday Afternoon in Chicago.

And that’s NOT exaggerating.

(This whole thing makes me want to go watch an episode of Due South and see how the Mountie on that show would have handled terrorists.)
