If there’s one thing to be said for President Obama, it’s that he is sticking to his pledge to be the opposite of President Reagan. Our national strategy for decades used to be “Containment.”

Communism, Russia, Terrorism, etc. When in doubt, surround and kill it. It worked pretty well in most cases. While we often lost a few wars politically, we never lost militarily.

Our current Administration seems determined to not contain anything ever. They claim everything is “futile and pointless.”

Well if walls, borders and containment don’t work then why do we have prisons? If walls and guards can’t stop people from moving around, we’d save a lot of money by just getting rid of our prisons. After all, prisoners will just wander through the walls or something eventually right?
