Non-Stop Flights to Lovely Ebola …er I mean Liberia- REAL CHEAP!

First Case of Ebola in the United States
Okay so technically not the first. We have brought a few in ourselves for treatment. This is the first one that snuck in on its own.
The good news is that the treatments do seem to be working so far.
The bad news is that it would take a long time to make enough get to the thousands of people we would need to in order to stop an epidemic.
My question is… didn’t we stop flights from Liberia? I thought I’d read that.
No, turns out only OTHER countries’ airlines did that.
We just keep flying there for some reason. In fact, there’s plenty of ads out there advertising direct flights to and from Liberia at very low cost.
(I’ll bet they are!)
Should we really be encouraging tourism to/from Liberia right now? Is that really a wise move? I know free market and all, but even as a business decision that seems REALLY dumb. Make a couple bucks and put your entire customer base at risk?
A clear case of dumb and dumber.
