I love how odd it is that one tree will be about to lose its leaves, while another is still vividly green. Even among the same species in the same area, they can vary quite a bit individually.

I originally intended just to take this picture of the red tinted tree by the post office. Not sure what it’s called. It just looked neat in the evening light.

Then I saw the one beside it.

Is it just me or does this thing look like some crazy angry monster rampaging through town?

The new antenna from the RG&E substation down the street fit just right as some sort of head/antenna thing sticking out on top as if it’s looking for new victims.
