Irony of “takes” and rushed laziness

This is very true! It is a world of hyperanxiety where speed trumps accuracy and divisiveness sells “clicks” or “ads” or whatever (can’t really say newspapers anymore.)
When I took the time to do research on the history of the Washington Redskins, I was amazed at how WRONG the public narrative is. It is the OPPOSITE of Racism. In fact, the team (and much of the NFL) was FOUNDED by Native Americans!
Some early teams were ENTIRELY “Redskins!”
Hence the names.

And some that are “racist” have nothing to DO with racism. The Cleveland Browns for examples were named after a man named “Brown” who founded them. Similarly the Kansas City Chiefs were founded after the Mayor of Kansas City whose nickname was “Chief.”

Look it up for yourself.
It was VERY rewarding to do the research and find out that the original narrative is wrong… VERY wrong.

IGNORANTLY wrong.
Better no “news” at all compared to INCORRECT news!

I’m not quite sure what his point actually is. Maybe if he used less “superfluous” words we would be able to grasp his “concept”.

True. It is a bit wordy. The idea we miss out because news is speed of very qualitt though is valid.
