WORLD EXCLUSIVE: Jack the Ripper unmasked: How amateur sleuth used DNA breakthrough to identify Britain’s most notorious criminal 126 years after string of terrible murders (Daily Mail)
I kinda figured the hoopla about this would be… bigger. I guess SOLVING a case is much less important than HYPING one. After all, as long as the “mystery” keeps going, you can sell books and make TV documentaries. In other words, lots of MONEY to be made off of it!
A solved case… especially one that fingers who you’d EXPECT to have done it is rather boring.
“Oh, really? A criminal committed a criminal act? Yawn”
Well I guess there will still always be “truthers” out there, just as there are for JFK, 9/11 and the Moon Landing.
This seems good enough for me.
