double trouble hawaii

Hawaii in for TWO hurricanes at once- ABC News

It’s amazing how small the world is. One of my soldiers is from Hawaii. Her folks are preparing to move to a shelter right now. She keeps saying that “someone really pissed off Pele.”

I thought she was talking about the 1970s soccer player. Apparently she meant tourists tossing garbage into volcanoes. This tends to make the Goddess of Volcanoes very cranky it seems.

I thought it would have been a great solution. Volcanoes are something like 2,000 degrees right? That’s a great trash incincerator powered by nature! Didn’t they toss the “indestructible” evil ring in a volcano in Lord of the Rings to destroy it?

Well, anyway prayers would be appreciated to whatever God or Goddess you pray to for her family. If you’re an Atheist, then well wishes maybe? Do Atheists believe in luck or fortune even if they don’t believe in God?

Kind of like Florida maybe a decade ago. They got hit by one hurricane from the east, another from the west then one from the south. Then a few weeks later just to add another scoop into everybody’s crap basket *another* hurricane hit the state going diagonally from the southeast to northwest.
And an excellent point on what to do with the rubble.

Nice read, I just passed this onto a friend who was doing some research on that. And he just bought me lunch since I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that Thank you for lunch! Whenever you have an efficient government you have a dictatorship. by Harry S Truman. bgcdgacddccd

Good news! The soldier’s family is a little wet (flooded basement and no power yet) but safe! Thank you everyone.
